Hidden Figures

Until 2016, it was not widely known that a room full of Black Women at NASA were the mathematicians that helped to spearhead the US Space Program – all while remaining hidden in plain sight due to the racism and patriarchal norms of the time. The brilliance of these “Hidden Figures” didn’t truly come to light for the masses until a movie called Hidden Figures made their names “household."
