The fall is a time to let go of the old to make space for the new. While the leaves turn colors and make their grand exit, acorns are gathered up and stored away for times of need. This doesn’t only happen in nature. It happens within us as well.
The leaf in this necklace has been an element I’ve used in my designs for years. After finding out that some of my favorite accompaniments for it were being discontinued and feeling a bit sad about it, I decided that maybe fate had dealt me a better card than I had initially imagined. The sweet copper acorn and shimmering copper beads helped an old friend find a new pathway. That golden leaf has the room to shine in ways I had never considered before. Sometimes it takes a loss to recognize a gain.
The textured chain is approximately 32” in length. The adjoining decorative links and leaf pendant are 3.5” in length. The necklace can be worn either long or short and is ideal for layering. All elements are lead and nickel-compliant.
